Practice Information:

Life Care Medical Center was established in August 2004. Currently Dr. Amreesh Saxena works at the medical center.  He has been practicing medicine in Melbourne for more than 31 years. 

The medical center prefers appointment which can be made by ringing (03 )98401222.

The operating hours of the clinic are as follows:

Monday to Thursday:    9.30 am till 6 pm
Friday:                               9.30 am till 5 pm
Saturday:                          9.30 am till 2 pm
Sunday:                             Closed

Home visits can be arranged by ringing the clinic.  It is offered to the regular patients of life care medical center only and who are residing within 5 kilometers distance from the clinic. 

After hours service is also available and can be contacted by ringing 132660.

Longer consultations can be arranged  at the time of making the appointment.     Regular patients of the clinic can be seen urgently if need be through an appointment or as a walk in.

All consultations at the medical center are bulk  billed for patients who hold a valid medicare card. Currently there is no fees for cancelled or missed appointments.
 

Dr. Saxena receives telephone calls from the patients but during busy hours he may not be able to talk to the patients. In that case he will return the telephone call if a message is left at the reception desk for a return call. 

It is the clinic's policy not  to discuss the results of any medical test over the telephone.

Patients are encouraged to make appointments to discuss their results with the doctor.  However, patients will be recalled promptly if  an abnormal result needs urgent attention.

Patients are regularly send pap smears and immunization reminders.

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is a policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of staff.

Patients can provide feedback by filling up the feedback form available at the reception desk. Telephonic interpretation service 1s also available at the medical center.
